Medical - Patient Care Support

Under the supervision of the RN, LPN or licensed healthcare professional, the Nursing Attendant provides direct care to assist in the activities of daily
living, comfort and safety of the patient, and provides indirect services to support the overall provision of care on units 49 and CCU.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 16.35 per hour   Maximum: 19.89 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved personal care attendant program or equivalent.
- Current successful completion of BCLS program required.
- Previous experience an asset.
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and request and accept direction is required.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients/families, visitors and team members.
- Well developed time management skills.
