Registered Nurse

- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care in respective program.
- Following established policies and procedures within the service.
- Directs activities of other members of the nursing team, and coordinates activities of the health care team.
- Demonstrate current nursing knowledge, efficiency, communication and leadership skills.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Current registration (in good standing) with CARNA required.
- Current Certification in CPR required.
- Current Certification in IV Therapy, ACLS, and NRP preferred, TNCC an asset.
- Evidence of integrity, initiative and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and team communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality.
- Demonstrated accountability for own practice.
- ACLS/TNCC/NRP rural experience preferred.
- Emergency room experience an asset.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.
- Must be committed to promoting a positive work environment.
- Must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the position.
