Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

The RN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care of patients on Unit 42 for the purpose of promoting,
maintaining or restoring health, or supporting a peaceful death.  The RN works as a member of the health team collaborating on the delivery of comprehensive care to patients and families.

Employee Class: Temporary Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current / active CARNA registration required
- Current CPR, Level C Healthcare Provider required
- Current bedside nursing experience (surgical) in Acute Care
- Recent experience in Gynecology / Colorectal surgery preferred
- Ability to work as a team member within a collaborative care nursing model
- Critical thinking skills, including clinical judgement and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required
- Professional mature manner
- Heavy lifing as well as repetitive movements are necessary during the course of performing duties on this unit
- Basic computer skills are an asset
