Medical - Licensed Practical Nurse

Under the direction of the Charge nurse and reporting to the manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the health care team, providing care to cardiology patients within the
CLPNA scope of practice. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 21.72 per hour   Maximum: 28.44 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CLPNA registration is required.
- Current BCLS Level C required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and document physical assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to administer medications within the acute care setting.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills re clinical judgment and problem solving.
- Recent experience in an acute care setting at full scope of practice.
- Recent experience in caring for medical/cardiac patients.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
