Medical - Licensed Practical NurseJoin our team! Unit 4 is a 26 bed unit which accepts patients from birth to 18 years of age. It is a fast paced and dynamic environment with an emphasis on family centered care and teamwork.
Patient populations on Unit 4 are surgical and trauma focused, including orthopedic, plastic, and general surgery. A smaller medical population is also cared for on Unit 4 including diabetes,
metabolics, and eating disorders. Unit 4 provides great opportunities for growth and learning in a fun pediatric environment.

Employee Class: Temporary Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 21.72 per hour Maximum: 28.44 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CLPNA registration required.
- Current BLS/Lifesaver certificate required.
- Fluent in spoken and written English required.
- 1 - 2 years acute care paediatric experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with team members.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the care of children through a family-centred nursing approach.
- Commitment to working towards full scope of practice
