Medical - Patient Care Support

The Nursing attendant posits ion assists  with direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed practical Nurse. Responsibilities include performing tasks
related to activities of daily living and other specific Unit related activities.
Unit 51 is a Seniors Health Unit focusing on the care of the elderly patient.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 16.35 per hour   Maximum: 19.89 per hour
Qualifications:
- PCA certificate required
- Current experience working with Seniors/Geriatrics/Long Term Care
- Fluency with speaking,reading,and writing English
- Demonstrated excellance with working in a team environment required in relation to a Team Nursing Model
- Experience and education related to Dementia and Alzheimer patients and their specific care needs
- Experience and education related to managing difficult behaviors  with Dementia and Alzheimer patient

$19.89/per hour
