Physical Therapist I - Medicine

Under general supervision from the Clinical Leader and Rehabilitation Manager, this position is responsible for the assessment of patients referred to the service as well as development,
implementation and evaluation of individual treatment programs according to professional practice standards.
This position is physically demanding and requires repetitive lifting and transferring of patients and or equipment.

Location: Foothills Medical Centre
Employee Class: Regular Full Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 31.32 per hour   Maximum: 41.67 per hour
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's level degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent
- Active license with CPTA
- CPR required - BLS for Health Care Providers Level C
- Recent experience providing physiotherapy interventions to patients in an acute hospital setting preferred
- Effective self management skills and demonstrated initiative
- Able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
