Corrections Manager Health Services - Southern Ab

The Corrections Manager is responsible for the leadership, management and disposition of resources for the Department of  Medicine Neurosciences Corrections Services RGH Calgary. The Corrections
Manager works both independently and with other stakeholders to provide administrative oversite to the healthcare services of the Corrections Centres of Souther Alberta (Red Deer and south).6
Responsibilities of this position inclouded project initiation and planning, management of specific deliverables and timelines, analysis of requirements, organizational change management, internal
and external communication, human resources and fiscal management, and quality assurance.

Rates of Pay: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing or other related healthcare profession
- At least 3 years of experience in formal management
- Understanding of cross-continuum aspects of the healthcare delivery system
- Demonstrated experience working in a managment/supervisory role within the corrections field
- Superior communication skills, both formal and informal
- Superior conflict management skills
- Experience working with senior executives and other managers
- Knowledge of the Alberta health system including Alberta Solicitor General Corrections healthcare services
- Demonstrated change management skills
