Medical - Therapist and Therapy Assistant

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Leader and the Rehabilitation Manager, this position is responsible for the assessment of patients referred to the service as well as the development,
implementation and evaluation of individual treatment programs according to professional practice standards.
This position is physically demanding and requires repetitive lifting and transferring of patients and or equipment.

Location: Foothills Medical Centre
Employee Class: Temporary Full Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 31.32 per hour   Maximum: 41.67 per hour
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate or Master's in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed with ACOT.
- Recent experience providing therapy interventions to patients in an acute hospital setting preferred
- CPR required - BLS for Health Care Providers Level C
- Effective self management skills and demonstrated initiative.
- Able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
