Medical - Clerical and AdministrativeThis position performs all clerical and administrative duties for day to day operations of the Foothills Medical Centre dental clinic including data entry, reception duties, appointment booking,
patient billing and accounts receivable.
Responds to patient and caregiver inquiries regarding proposed treatment, treatment alternatives, treatment provided, and related costs.
Assists in the production of the month end financial reports and statistics.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 21.16 per hour Maximum: 24.27 per hour
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Dental Business Administration preferred.
- 2-3 years dental administrative experience in a multi-practitioner environment required .
- Experience with a dedicated dental management software program is required. - Experience with "Power Practice" Dental management software preferred.
- Must have a good understanding of dental terminology, dental procedures and medical complications in relation to dental treatment.
- Expert keyboarding, computer and data entry skills are essential.
- Superior communication, and customer relations skills are essential.
- Experience managing Accounts Receivable is an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of: dental insurance systems, hospital admission systems and Alberta Health Care insurance systems
