Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

In collaboration with a strong multidisciplinary health care team, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive holistic care to Trauma and General Surgical patients in the acute care phase.
The RN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and families for the purpose of promoting, maintaining or restoring health and
preventing illness, injury and disability.

Location: Foothills Medical Centre
Employee Class: Temporary Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
-Current CARNA registration
-Current BCLS certification
-Current BN/BSCN preferred
-Continuing education related to Trauma Nursing Care preferrred
- Recent surgical nursing experience
-Recent experience in 2 or more surgical specialties preferred
-Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills essential
-Demonstrated excellent organizational skills essential
-Basic computer skills are an asset

$42.45/per hour
