Medical - Clerical and AdministrativeWorking with minimal supervision this position provides secretarial support to the the Allied Health Clinical Leaders and Allied Health Leader mainly working in two areas of the hospital. This
position requires the incumbent to use initiative and independent judgment while providing direct secretarial, organizational, administrative and scheduling support. Daily work activities are varied
and diverse and will involve communication and collaboration with team members in order to organize/maintain schedules and achieve objectives while under pressure to handle multiple tasks, changing
priorities and sometimes short deadlines. Performs advanced computer operations, including preparing reports, spreadsheets, data entry, and payroll. Provides coverage for the Secretary III for
vacation and intense work periods as required.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.22 per hour Maximum: 25.48 per hour
Qualifications:
- High School graduate, supplemented by secretarial/business/post secondary courses required. A diploma or certificate in secretarial/clerical services
would be an asset.
- at least 2-years related office experience within AHS required.
- Knowledge, current experience and at least intermediate skill levels of use with Windows XP, Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Ability to meet tight timelines/completion targets and manage multiple demands required.
- Knowledge and current experience with using Clinibase and SCM would be considered an asset.
- Experience in Scheduling and payroll required.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, accuracy is essential.
- Excellent telephone, oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, make independent decisions and respond to the changing needs in the department with minimal supervision
- Ability to use critical thinking to problem solve is required.
- Willingness and flexibility to meet the demands of ongoing change is required
