Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

In collaboration with a strong multidisciplinary health care team, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to Neurosurgical and Neurology
patients in the acute care phase. The RN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and families for the purpose of promoting, maintaining
or restoring health and preventing illness, injury and disability.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration and BCLS certification required.
- Demonstrates leadership and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates effective time management and organizational skills.
- Charge experience or interest in charge opportunity an asset (training available).
- Commitment to working within a dynamic healthcare team interested in advancing the care of spinal patients.
- Recent experience in neuroscience nursing or acute medicine/surgery an asset.
- CNA Neurosciences Certification an asset.
- Basic computer skills required.
