Licensed Practical Nurse

Exciting opportunity to work at Full Scope of Practice on a busy Acute Medical Inpatients Unit.
A Licensed Practical Nurse responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family care on a medical unit. Involves working with and delegating
care to Nursing Attendants, and collaborating with a large multidisciplinary team.
This position is a great opportunity to work at full scope of practice, and to develop a broad knowledge base and a solid Nursing foundation.
Four of our 38 beds are designated for our sub-specialty of acutely ill Eating Disorder Patients. Staff will have the opportunity to work with these patients, supported by the Eating Disorders
multidisciplinary team.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour   Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized LPN program.
- Current CLPNA registration.
- 6 months of current acute care experience desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work at full scope of practice.
- Successful candidates may be required to write competency challenge to ensure ability to function at full scope of practice.
- Strong communication skills essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a large multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- Acute medical nursing experience recommended.
- Experience with utilizing electronic patient care information system in a hospital setting desirable
