Medical - Management and Business ProfessionalThe Manager, HR Services is a leadership role in the HR Services section and reports directly to the Director, HR Services. This position is responsible
and accountable for leading a site/sector based operational Human Resources team in the planning, delivery and evaluation of human resources services and programs in support of the vision, mission
and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The Manager, HR Services will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key site/sector stakeholders and leaders in order to provide
operational leadership to and oversee all related HR programs and services.
The Manager, HR Services provides direct support to all aspects of HR services for the assigned portfolio. This position establishes and maintains positive relationships with key local and provincial
representatives and health care stakeholders. Along with management of a team of HR professionals, the Manager, HR Services is accountable for local departmental objectives regarding the
implementation and management of provincially integrated delivery of HR services and quality measurement programs.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- A minimum of baccalaureate degree in human resources, business administration, law or other related field
- A minimum of 10 years in a human resources role in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (health care experience an asset)
- 5 years experience in a senior HR professional and/or management role
- A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development
NOTE: Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered
- Professional designation (CHRP) is preferred
