Medical - Clerical and AdministrativeWorking under minimal supervision, the Secretary is responsible for all aspects of clerical support for the Site Manager and Administration at RRDTC. This includes:
1. Coordinating activities for meetings and events.
2. Providing clerical support for financial and operational related activities.
3. Performing customer service and forming collaborative partnerships for the department.
4. Providing administrative office support for the manager's office.
5. Performing other miscellaneous duties which support the site operations.
Grade 12 diploma required. Clerical health care program certificate or diploma required - i.e. Administrative assistant, Unit Clerk, MOA or equivalent combination of education and experience
acceptable to the employer. An advanced level of clerical skills is required, this may include a combination of clerical training, Medical terminology, Administrative Assistant, computer or business
related courses.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.22 per hour Maximum: 25.48 per hour
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma required.
- Clerical Health care program certificate or diploma required - i.e. Administrative assistant, Computer, Business related courses, Unit Clerk, MOA or equivalent.
- Combination of education and experience acceptable to the employer.
- An advanced level of clerical skills is required.
- Intermediate technical/professional experience (ie 3- 5 years) required.
- This position requires ability to be self directed, and to access a wide range of both internal and external resources in order to complete the job.
- Familiarity with the entire range of Regional departments is preferred. The incumbent must have a level of maturity to handle complex situations and ability to work in a medical/hospital
environment.
- Advanced computer skills: working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Calendar, E-mail required.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and accept accountability.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive information.
- Professional and mature manner.
- Ability to work with strict time constraints and occasional stressful situations.
- Experience with routine office equipment - photocopier, fax, etc.
- Proficient typing skills, minimum 50 wpm.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, flexibility and organizational skills required
