Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse will provide acute medical care within the medical specialty program of Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant. 
This is a fast paced and rapidly changing care environment and an adaptable nature is important.
The RN will work within a dynamic interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive nursing care within this specialty.  There are many certifications that will be learned and required.  Active
participation in preceptorship, clinical trials, and ongoing professional education are a must.

Employee Class: Temporary Full Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA Registration and BCLS certification required.
- Graduate of approved nursing program required.
- 1-2 years of recent acute medical experience preferred.
- Chemo Certification and CVC care experience preferred.
- Recent experience with care of neutropenic patients required.
- Recent oncology experience preferred. CON certification an asset.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Demonstrates an ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary medical team.
