Medical - Management and Business ProfessionalReporting to the Lead, Project Management, the Project Manager is responsible to manage and supervise projects from the design development, through to
construction, building commissioning and turnover stages for all IMP and Functional Projects within Alberta Health Services. The Project Manager will manage project procurement, contracts, project
supervision, contract administration, cash flow forecasts, coordination of equipment and project AT purchasing and all financial related items including review and sign off the project monthly
expenditures. The Project Manager provides leadership and expertise and is directly accountable to ensure that the projects are delivered achieving all of the project goals of scope, budget,
schedule, quality and other performance standards to the client's satisfaction and with a safe working environment. The Project Manager will provide leadership and supervision to a staff consisting
pf Project Coordinators and Project Assistants ( staffing will vary with project parameters).

Qualifications:
Two year diploma in a related technology program. Candidates possessing a University Degree in Architecture or Engineering are also eligible. Applicants possessing
a Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant project management experience will also be considered, In addition to the technical requirements, training is required in desktop software including
project management software, contract law, insurance requirements and financial management. Five to seven years of related experience including hospital or healthcare facility construction and/or
healthcare facility management experience. Design background or Facilities Management Training. Eligibility for membership in recognized associations (eg, APEGGA, ASET, PMI, AAA, etc.). Candidates
not possessing the above noted education and experience may be considered on a developmental basis.
