Unit Manager

The Unit manger is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of professional and support staff in Specialty Clinics, GI Endoscopy clinic, HPTP, Anticoagulation management services and
Pulmonary Diagnostics. The unit manager participates in implementing and maintaining standards of practice,hiring, supervising and evaluating professional and support staff, performance management,
budget planning and implementing changes to structure, processes and prcedures in order to achieve improved outcomes in patient satisfaction , quality of care and resource utilization

Rates of Pay: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
Qualifications:
- Currrent AARN registration
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
- A broad knowledge base and demonstrated clinical competence in various areas of nursing, including medical, surgical and outpatient services required
- Demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience and skill in assisting staff with performance development; facilitating and mentoring staff
- Previous experience with a supervisory role required
- Proven communication skills im a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment demonstrated ability to be self-directed, highly montivated, well organized, efficient, flexible and
dependable
- Analytical, organizational, planning, teaching, decision-making, and financial management skills required
- Advanced knowledge of PC's and information services require
