Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

The RN works collaboratively to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery for musculoskeletal illness
or injury. The RN works within the multidisciplinary team to deliver competent care and health education to patients and their families for both orthopaedic and non orthopaedic patients.

Employee Class: Temporary Full Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Certification in PCA/PCEA/CVC care an asset
- Recent Orthopedic or surgical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Team work qualities are essential for the unit's intercollaborative practice
- CONA membership is an asset

$42.45/per hour
