Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric NurseThe Registered Nurse (RN) practices as an integral member of the Movement Disorder Program team, collaborating on the delivery of comprehensive health
care to meet the needs of individuals, and families within an ambulatory care setting. The RN uses specialized knowledge and skill to facilitate delivery of health services by providing nursing
care, education, counselling and treatment for patients with movement disorders across the care continuum (ambulatory care, acute care and long term care). Components of this role involve ongoing
education, assessment and management of patients undergoing surgery, such as deep brain stimulation.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Degree in nursing required.
- Current CARNA registration and BCLS required.
- 3-5 years of recent neuroscience nursing experience required.
- Ambulatory nursing experience preferred
- Experience with neuromodulation devices preferred.
- Clinical expertise in the nursing care of patients with movement disorders preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic proficiency with computers, required (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Sunrise Clinical Manager, Clinibase).
