Medical - Licensed Practical NurseIn collaboration with the RN and multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation of comprehensive patient and family care on a transition unit for cognitively impaired patients waiting for long term care placement.
Demonstrated excellence in working with seniors is desirable.
This position involves working closely with and delegating care duties to Nursing Attendants.

Employees will be assigned to work on both areas of transition unit.

Employee Class: Temporary Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a recognized LPN program
- Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Demonstrates effective time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated competence working in teams and effective delegation of NA's required
- Experience working with seniors and the cognitively impaired is an asset.
- Self directed and motivated.
- Strong computer skills are an asset
