Registered Nurse

This is an opportunity to join a new team and participate in the opening of a Transition Unit at the Peter Lougheed Centre. The patient population of this unit will be those individuals waiting
for a bed within an alternate level of care facility. The patients located on this unit will predominantly be seniors.
This position plays a key role in collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team in the coordination of patient and family care needs. The RN will develop, monitor, review and evaluate goals of
patient care on an ongoing basis in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current, active CARNA registration
- Certification in Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills essential
- Experience working with seniors  and the cognitively impaired is desireable
- Demonstration of effective organizational and time management skills
- Leadership and delegation of team member skills required
- Charge nurse and mentorship experience - to new learners and team members required
- Self-directed and motivated
