Medical - Patient Care Support

A Nursing Attendant position which assists in the provision of direct and indirect patient care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Responsible for performing tasks related to activities of daily living and other specific procedures on the nursing unit. Heavy lifting, as well as repetitive movements are necessary during the
course of performing duties on this unit.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 17.09 per hour Maximum: 20.79 per hour
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Graduate of a recognized Personal Care Attendant course or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification required.
- 2 years recent experience in acute medical inpatients setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with, and receive direction from RN/LPN.
- Basic computer skills are an asset

$20.79/per hour
