Medical - Patient Care Support

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, performs activities related to patient care on a Convalescent Short Stay unit.
Responsible for performing tasks related to activities of daily living and other tasks and procedures on the nursing unit.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 17.09 per hour Maximum: 20.79 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized Nursing Attendant program or equivalent required.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- Recent acute care experience required, Long Term Care experience an asset.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills an asset

$20.79/per hour
