Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric NurseAs a member of the Neuroscience Nursing Team, the Nurse in Neurosciences uses specialized knowledge and skill in providing nursing Assessment, Planning,
Implementation, and Evaluation. The nurse consults and collaborates with other team members and is involved with both the initial referral as well as ongoing monitoring of patients referred to the
Neurosciences Program for Service. The Neuroscience Nurse is responsible for coordinating the clinics and patient follow-up and ensuring the appropriate communication to team members.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Baccalaureate in nursing required
- Successful completion of an accredited post-basic study program related to the scope of the job preferred
- CAN specialty certification in Neurosciences and/or Rehab Nursing preferred
- Current registration with Alberta Association of Registered Nurses (AARN) required
Applied Experience:
- Recent experience in pediatric Neuroscience and/or Neuro Rehabilitation Nursing required
- Previous experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
Additional Abilities:
- Commitment to care of children through a family centered nursing approach
- Clinical expertise in clinical neurosciences or neuro rehabilitaiton nursing
- Organizational and interpersonal skill
