Medical - Therapist and Therapy Assistant

Under the direction of the Unit  Manager, Neuroscience the successful candidate will be an Occupational Therapist working in the Neuroscience Services as
part of a multidisciplinary team. This position includes consultation, assessment and treatment with a variety of Neurological impairments referred to the program area for service.

Employee Class: Temporary Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.73 per hour   Maximum: 43.55 per hour
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Bahelor or Masters level program in Occupational Therapy
- Current member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Alberta (ACOT).
- Eligible for CAOT membership.
- Pediatric experience working with children who have neurological impairments.
- Experience in pediatric feeding assessment and treatment an asset.
- Experience with pediatric typical and atypical development.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Demonstrated understanding of a Family Centred Care service delivery model

$43.55/per hour
