Registered Nurse

The Endocrine/gynecology clinic at the Alberta Children's Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to support its multiple, fast-paced paediatric
clinics that provide assessment, treatment and follow up care to patients from birth to 18 years of age, requiring the services of a paediatric specialist.
The multidisciplinary team provide a family centered care approach to treatment and there is an emphasis on teamwork within the clinic.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to the role. Education and support of patients and families is also required.
Clinical focus will be on those patients requiring care for issues related to endocrinology and gynecology.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current registration with CARNA
- Current CPR registration
- Three to five years of paediatric experience required
- Strong communication/organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good time management
- Strong understanding of paediatric endocrinology/gynecology treatment, procedures, management and follow up
- Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
- Commitment to the care of children through a family-centered nursing approach
- Previous experience in outpatient clinics preferre
