Registered Nurse

Under the direction of the Manager, this position assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care; educates; assists with endoscopy and E.R.C.P. procedures' recovers patients; rotates
through Day Medicine; shares in on-call duty; participates in and supports research activities; and demonstrates professional accountability.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
Current CARNA registration required
- Current BCLC and IV certifications required, ACLS certification desirable
- Current CGRN certification or equivalent preferred
- Baccalaureate degree preferred
- Current ambulatory care experience including endoscopy, therapeutic ERCP, and day medicine nursing  preferred
- Three to five years recent acute medical nursing experience required; previous critical care experience  required
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to function independently.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast paced changing environment
- Ability to work for extended periods of time in a fluoroscopy environment wearing protective gear.
- Ability to share on-call duty
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills an asset
