Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

Reporting to the manager of inpatient Mental Health at RGH, the RN/RPN will provide assessment, intervention and discharge planning to adult patients and
their families.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- 2-3 yr mental health experience in acute care setting desired.
- Registration with CARNA or RPNAA required.
- Proven skills in communication, verbal, written and team cohesion.
- Must be willing to participate in educational programs such as : Tidal Model, CBT training, Family systems nursing, HoNOS and others as necessary.
- Good medical knowledge for at least the basics: Glucometer, IV therapy etc.
- Ability to handle stress

$42.45/per hour
