Licensed Practical Nurse

This is an opportunity to be part of a new team on a new Transition Unit at the Peter Lougheed Centre. The patient population of this
unit will be those individuals waiting for a bed within an alternate level of care facility and will predominantly be seniors. In collaboration with the RN and multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
of comprehensive patient and family care.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour   Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current active registration with CLPNA
- Certification of Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills essential
- Experience working with seniors and the cognitively impaired desireable
- Demonstration of effective organizational and time management skills
- Leadership and delegation of team member skills required
- Strong computer skills required
- Competence working in multi-disciplinary team
