Therapy Assistant- Allied Health

This role will work across Allied Health providing relief coverage and additional support to the othro, neurology and or medicine teams within rehabiliation. The role will involve developing a
presence within social work and spriritual care as need demands. A flexible creative solution focused approach will be essential for success in this role.

Experience within health care and superior problem solving and inter personal skills are necessary.
Previous experience within one of the rehabilitation teams would be an asset.  Interest and experience in other areas of Allied Health would also be helpful.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 20.33 per hour   Maximum: 24.61 per hour
Qualifications:
- Completion of a two year technical therapeutic assistant program is required.
- Additional training in social work, spiritual care, recreation  or speech therapy at the university or college level would be useful in this role.
- Familiarity with the health care system in Alberta, and various aspects of physical and occupational therapy would be helpful. Previous experience with the ordering, maintenance and monitoring of
patient equipment would be an asset.
