Medical - Patient Care Support

Under supervision and direction of the RN, RPN, LPN or licensed healthcare professional, the Nursing Attendant provides direct care to assist in the
activities of daily living, comfort and safety of the patient/client/resident and provides indirect services to support the overall provision of care in their assigned area.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 17.09 per hour Maximum: 20.79 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved personal care attendant's program or equivalent.
- Previous experience is an asset.
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients/clients, families, visitors and team members.
- Well developed time management skills.
- Experience in long term care desired.
- CPR desired.
Please note this position is located outside of Calgary city limits. (45 km south of Calgary)

$20.79/per hour
