Registered Nurse

This HPTP RN works as a member of the Home Parenteral Therapy Program team, collaborating the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and education to
meet the needs of the individuals requiring parenteral therapies with the HPTP Program. The RN provides nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for the individual
requiring Home Parenteral Therapy.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration is mandatory.
- Bachelors of Nursing Degree is preferred.
- Five years of current acute care medical/surgical clinical experience.
- Demonstrated excellent in initiating and maintaining, and in decision making related to venous access.
- PICC experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in adult teaching and learning.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment, constant walking, lifting and bending necessary.
- Mastery in comprehensive patient assessment and decision making.
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and independence of nursing practice in a highly functioning team environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to connect with patients and their families and build productive professional relationships with team members and other health care professionals.
- Basic computer skills an asset.
