Nursing Attendant

Practicing within the philosophy and guidelines of the Southern Alberta Renal Program, the Nursing Attendant works as a member of the health care team
and is responsible for providing direct care to assist in the activities of daily living, comfort and safety of the patient, and provides indirect services to support the overall provision of care in
their assigned area.
This position involves lifting and movements requiring fine motor skills (e.g. hand dexterity).

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 17.09 per hour   Maximum: 20.79 per hour
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an educational program using the Provincial Curriculum for Health Care Aides or have an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English required.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction required.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Effective time management skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
