Join our team! Unit 3 is a 26 bed unit which accepts patients from birth to 18 years of age. It is a fast paced and dynamic environment with an emphasis
on family centered care and teamwork. Patient populations on Unit 3 include  Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Burns and general medicine.  Unit 3 provides great opportunities for growth and
learning in a pediatric environment.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
- 2-3 years Child Health Nursing preferred
- Certification in IV initiation, IVAD's and Central Lines.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teaching skills essential.
- Previous experience in Nephrology/Neurology/Neurosurgery nursing preferred
- Demonstrated Patient/family teaching skills required
- Demonstrated understanding of Family Centered Care philosophy
- Demonstrated critical thinking & decision making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated written & oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
