Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

The Short Stay Unit is a dynamic service, perfect for the individual who loves working in a collaborative, fast-paced, positive team environment. The
focus of this multi-disciplinary team is on stabilizing crisis, instilling hope in the patient population and connecting individuals to community based resources. Working with individuals and their
families, the nurse has a key role in supporting individuals in their quest for wellness.

Location: Peter Lougheed Centre
Employee Class: Temporary Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA/CRPNAregistration is required.
- Current CPR required.
- Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Community and/or inpatient mental health experience is required.
- Must be able to participate fully in the prevention and management of disturbed behaviour.
- Previous or current Mental Health inpatient experience is required.
- Skill and knowledge in working with families an asset.
- Knowledge of community resources required. Community experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills an asset.
- Experience facilitating small groups is an asset

$42.45/per hour
