Medical - Management and Business ProfessionalReporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible to assist in the delivery and implementation of the project from design
development through construction, building & operational commissioning and turnover stages for the assigned IMP projects. The Project coordinator is the liaison between the client/user,
consultants and the construction team. Excellent communication skills are critical to balancing client/user needs with project constraints, obtaining maximum cooperation between client/user groups,
support departments, external agencies, consultants and contractors. This individual advises the users of construction activities, construction team user concerns, coordinates the expedition of
service shut downs and inspections, ensures the constructors are adhering to the facility guidelines, assists with the physical processes for the department, prepares cost estimates and schedules,
and participates in value engineering exercises, contract administration (progress claims, financial controls, project reporting, post occupancy and warranty services). Accountable to ensure that
assigned projects achieve all goals of scope, budget, schedule, quality and other performance standards to the clients satisfaction and within a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- Post secondary diploma in Architectural / Engineering technology as well as formal training in project management.
- Occupational Health & Safety and Business Administration / Management training is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and Project is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferably including hospital or medical facility construction experience.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, including construction and building codes and Facility Construction Standards and Guidelines, building materials, components and assemblies and the design /
construction process.
- Valid drivers license
