Licensed Practical Nurse

Assess, plan, implement and evaluates care for assigned patients. Able to function at full scope of practice as defined by the College of Licensed
Practical Nurses of Alberta.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour   Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program.
- Current CPR certification, Level C Health care Provider.
- Current/active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required.
- 2-3 years recent  acute surgical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse preferred
- Burn Unit experience preferred
- Microvascular/Major Plastics/Head and Neck experience preferred
- Experience working to Full Scope of Practice an asset (including medication administration).
- Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required.
- Critical thinking skills within scope of practice, including clinical judgment and problem solving skills.
- Professional, mature manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
- Heavy lifting as well as repetitive movements are necessary during the course of performing duties on this unit.
- Basic computer skills are an asset
