Medical - Patient Care Support

In the Operating Rooms positions patients in a safe manner for surgery. Some knowledge about anatomy is an asset . Critical thinking ability to problem solve equipment issues is a must. Must be
organized and and have the ability to plan stocking of supplies around patient needs. Needs to have good upper body strength and awareness of body mechanics.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 17.80 per hour Maximum: 19.41 per hour
Qualifications:
- Grade XII level of education or equivalent required.

- Medical terminology is an asset.- Fluent in speaking/reading/writing English.
- Must be certified at Heart Saver level in CPR or higher.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to independently perform routine and assigned tasks.
- Ability to perform job duties independently, under varying workloads (assess and prioritize tasks).
- Effective communication skills with various groups and individuals.
- Demonstrates understanding, patience, confidentiality and sensitivity when relating to others.
- Maintains collaborative, effective working relationships with others

$19.41/per hour
