Registered Nurse

Reporting to the Unit Manager for Day Surgery at FMC including Unit 41, McCaig Tower, North Tower Day Surgery, and TBCC, this staff nurse assesses,
plans, implements, and evaluates patient care and provides education to pre and post operative patients and their families. Participates in and supports research activities, and demonstrates
professional accountability.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
- Active CARNA registration required.
- BCLS, IV therapy certification required.
- Minimum 7-10 years acute care nursing experience, with 5 years recent surgical nursing experience required.
- Inpatient surgical experience required.
- Outpatient surgical experience desired.
- Patient teaching experience required.
- Well developed organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize in rapidly changing environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and independence in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills are an asset
