Under limited supervision, the Aide is responsible for cleaning, transport and stocking of all anesthesia equipment, supplies and drugs in the Operating Rooms and Labour and
Delivery.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 17.80 per hour   Maximum: 19.41 per hour
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Accredited sterilization course would be an asset.
- Operating Room experience preferred.
- One year of related experience, preferably in a hospital environment is required.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient surgical procedures.
- Must be able to work independently.  This position involves a variety of routine duties which require initiative and diligence.
- Must be able to lift 20 kilograms and bend as required.  Also must be able to push and pull loaded carts and anaesthetic machines
- Incumbent is exposed to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids and sharps.
- Since the duties need to be executed in a limited time frame, the incumbent must be well organized and be able to prioritize.
- Attention to detail and accuracy important in this position.
- Must be courteous and helpful to operating room staff.
