Medical - Licensed Practical NurseUnder the supervision of the nurse clinician and under direction of the clinic manager , the LPN is accountable for the quality of care he/she provides
to patients.Utilizing the nursing process, the LPN is responsible for planning, implementing, directing and evaluating care for patients in Outpatient Specialty Clinic setting.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of qualified school and training program.
- Current registration with the college of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPANA) required.
- Current successful completion of a BCLS program is required.
- 3 years of recent experience in acute care setting required.
- Current outpatient experience required.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills, within scope of practice, including clinical judgment and problem solving skills required.
- Must be organized, motivated and self directed, able to prioritize.
- Must be able to embrace change.
- Ability to function effectively and keep pace in a busy multi-disciplinary patient care setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must be able to assist patients with mobility problems.
- Constant walking, bending and lifting necessary.
- Knowledge in SCM/clinibase an asset
- Current knowledge of Specialty clinics process require
