Join our team!  Alberta Children's Hospital Inpatient Units accept patients form birth to 18 years of age.  They are fast paced, dynamic environments with an emphasis on family centered care and
teamwork.  Primary patient focus on Unit 2 relates to the care of children with cardio-respiratory illnesses and infant GI conditions.  This includes, but is not limited to, children with: congenital
heart defects, heart transplants, tracheostomy, cystic fibrosis, short gut syndrome and gastroschisis.  The inpatient units provide great opportunities for growth and learning in a fun pediatric
environment.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration.
- PALS Certification an asset.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing required
- 1-2 years Child Health Nursing required
- Previous experience with infant & toddler age groups, tracheostomy care and cardiac conditions preferred.
- Demonstrated Patient/family teaching skills required
- Demonstrated understanding of FCC philosophy
- Demonstrated critical thinking & decision making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated written & oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills require
