Medical - Patient Care Support

As a part of the Nursing Support Team, the Unit Aide performs duties related to patient comfort and smooth functioning of the nursing unit under the
general direction of the Patient Care Manager or delegate.

Location: Foothills Medical Centre
Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 16.24 per hour Maximum: 17.73 per hour
Qualifications:
- Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Previous hospital or hospital housekeeping experience desirable.
- Ability to work in an actively paced area and adapt to frequent interruptions in activities.
- Excellent physical condition as work involves extensive walking and some lifting.
- Good communication skills with patients, visitors, medical staff and other hospital personnel.
- Ability to work under supervision and to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to perform routine and assigned tasks.
- Basic computer skills are an asset

$17.73/per hour
