Medical - Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Clinicians are responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and, evaluation of care of individuals/families with
wounds, ostomy and continence disorders. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing consultation and care to referred inpatients, outpatients and families. This position is located at
FMC site and reports to the Manager of PCU 102.

Employee Class: Regular Part Time
Rates of Pay: Minimum: 33.43 per hour   Maximum: 44.47 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration and BCLS required.
- Completed or enrolled in approved Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Education Program required.
- Experience working with complex wounds and ostomies required.
- Experience with patient and family teaching an asset.
- Minimum 6 years of Acute Inpatient Surgical nursing experience required.
- Demonstrated effective communication with a team.
- Ability to conduct phone consults.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to make accurate phone assessments, interventions and appropriate follow up and referrals.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

$44.47/per hour
