Licensed Practical Nurse

Unit 84 is an acute surgical unit specializing in gynecology, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology  and orthopedics.  The LPN is responsible for the assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family care. The LPN is expected to demonstrate a professional and caring approach to patients and families through the system of Primary
Nursing Care.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour   Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current active registration with CLPNA required
- Current BLS required.
- 1 - 2 years recent acute care LPN experience preferred.
- Recent surgical LPN experience preferred.
- Completion of Adult Assessment and IV Therapy Courses preferred.
- Must be prepared to work to full scope of practice.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills are an asset
