Registered Nurse

Reporting to the Manager and Unit Manager of Unit 102 and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, the RN provides care to general surgery and
surgical oncology patients. The RN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patients and families care and needs. Discharge planning starts with admission of
the patient.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Demonstrates effective organizational skills.
- Demonstrates clear communication skills both oral and written.
- Recent experience in general surgical nursing on an acute care inpatient Unit essential.
- Experience with caring for High Observation surgical oncology post operative patients preferred.
- Experience with Charge Nurse duties preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of SCM and Medworxx an asset
