Licensed Practical Nurse

In collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices within their full scope providing direct care
to medical and palliative care patients and their families. The LPN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family care within the
multidisciplinary team.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 22.70 per hour   Maximum: 29.72 per hour
Qualifications:
- Active Practice Permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- Recent medical nursing experience.
- Palliative care education or experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work at full scope of practice.
- Demonstrates leadership and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates effective time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required and experience with utilizing SCM in a hospital setting desirable.
