Registered Nurse

In collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team, the Registered Nurse (RN) practices within their full scope providing direct care to
Tertiary Neuro Rehabilitation patients in the rehabilitation phase of care. The RN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and families
for the purpose of promoting, maintaining or restoring health and preventing illness, injury and disability.

Rates of Pay: Minimum: 32.34 per hour   Maximum: 42.45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current CARNA registration and BCLS certification required.
- Commitment to working within a dynamic healthcare team interested in advancing the care of rehabilitation patients.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates effective time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to work as a member of a team and to give, request and accept direction as required.
- Recent experience in rehabilitation nursing, neuroscience nursing, or acute medicine/surgery preferred.
- CNA Neurosciences Certification an asset.
- Charge experience or interest in charge opportunity an asset (training available).
- Basic computer skills required.
